BIKES

Post by SNC on Sun Aug 10, 2008 8:51 am

Well heres where it gets difficult. I have met both the HURC guys and the Z2 guys and comparing the Z2 to the HURC is like comparing apples to oranges. I happen to own the Z200 and a smaller Zongshen excel 125. Both have the vertical engine like the HURC But the Little bike has a SOHC(timing chain) engine whereas the Z2 has the PUSHROD. The Z250 on the other hand is a very nice bike and a very nice engine. But i go to the service center alot and there are just as much Z250 going under the knife as Z200's! For engine problems.
OUR CONCLUSION? We think its the bikes weight that affects the reliability of an engine and my little bike shows no signs of breakdowns and its OLD! So OFF THIS THREAD i would recommend the HURRICANE, why? Because i own a Z2! And the Z2 although i love the bike I dont like the HEAVY WEIGHT. But while its good for stability at high speeds, it makes it expensive to mofify while the HURC can get a bolt-on and beat the Z2 By many bikelengths!
Ive got a POWER PAK equipped Zongshen 125 and it flat WILL BEAT A Z250 with backrider! I know....ive done it and the girl with me laughed hysterically, and all i had was intake and exhaust mods. If power is what your looking for, then you need a bike that has a better power to weight ratio and there are only a few bikes that possess that and their engines are big. BLAZE, YAMAGUCHI, AND MY LITTLE UNDERBONE. But the little underbone has been discontinued long ago so the other bikes are left.
If your not interested in power, then by all means get the Z2. But be warned! They are a pain in the ass trying to get thru traffic while the GUCHI will slice thru it with ease. Thats why i take the little bike in the city and the BIGGER bike on road trips! The little bike is not comfortable on road trips but on short trips to the suppliers the BIG BIKE is just not practical for me.

MY CHOICE: YAMAGUCHI and Z250 depending on what your needs are.

GUYS! Dont get offended, i have to have an objective view and open minded review of these fine bikes.
These bikes are good! The GUCHI is sexy while the Z2 Is a work of art. But is slow as a slug and those people that claim their Z250 beat a raider were smoking SHABU! Because i beat a couple Z250's with the little bike with ease and they always give me a HONK when i do so! so how can that be???? the GUCHI also puts up a better fight bc its lighter, so which bike do you think I WILL MODIFY??? youguessed it!

HURRICANE!

sir thanks for the inputs...that's a great comparison between the two bikes...we entertain all people here and bro...no discrimination here...be it a japanese bike or china bike...
